The Eden Prairie Figure Skating Club qualifies as a PRIORITY III organization, allowing our club to purchase ice from the City of Eden Prairie for skating instruction. To qualify for PRIORITY III status, our club must comply with a variety of standards as set forth by the City of Eden Prairie. All athletic organizations in the Eden Prairie (soccer, hockey, Lacrosse, softball, etc) must meet these requirements for priority usage of City athletic facilities. Failure to comply could result in loss of use of community ice.
EPFSC must provide a designated EPFSC parent to attend periodic Sports Facility Committee meetings with representatives of the City, as well as other athletic associations.
For the City to ensure consistent behavioral expectations for all athletes, coaches and families using City facilities under PRIORITY III status, the following policy has been recommended for adoption by all athletic organizations. EPFSC has adopted this policy in its entirety.
