Membership Overview

The Eden Prairie Figure Skating Club (EPFSC), located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, is an organization designed to support the sport of figure skating in our community.

Being an EPFSC member allows a skater to take tests governed by the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) and to participate in sanctioned competitions and other skating events.

EPFSC is also a member of the Twin City Figure Skating Association (TCFSA).

Membership Options

The EPFSC offers several membership options for skaters, the most common of which are Home Club membership and the Aspire Junior Club membership.

Home Club Membership

A skater can list only one club as their “home club.” This is the club that will be announced at competitions or other events. A skater will spend the majority of their ice time at the home club facility. The majority of EPFSC members (97 percent) are home club members.  Home Club membership will be required to skater’s who have passed USFSA Pre-preliminary Singles or Skating Skills.

Aspire Junior Club Membership

EPFSC provides an Aspire Junior Club membership for members transitioning from the Learn to Skate program and is available to skaters from Learn to Skate levels Basic 3 through USFSA Pre-preliminary singles or skating skills tests.  Junior Club participants are encouraged to continue lessons in the Eden Prairie Skate School, purchase sessions for our Tuesday and Thursday Junior Club classes, and are welcome to contract for Club ice and begin private coaching.  In their first year of membership, Junior Club members are exempt from Club fundraising requirements.
